What beginners learn

A beginner lesson covers the suits and honors, how to read the current National Mah Jongg League card, setting up the wall, dealing, the Charleston, jokers, and how to complete a hand.
You do not need to bring tiles, racks, or a card. You can arrive solo, and there is no expectation that you already know the rules. Once the basics click, Guided Play keeps an instructor close while you build confidence at a real table.
